Spheres

This is a really cool trick that I know to make a sphere. First of all, I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. If you don't have this it may be slightly different, but not significantly.

1. Go to the gradient tool. When you click on it, a box will appear on the top. Click on the box to select which gradient you like. If you don't like any, click the edit button right next to the box to create your own.

2. Click on your page and drag the mouse across it.

3. Go to the top and click on filter. Scroll over distort and click on polar coordinates. The next time you need to use this it will appear on the top of the list when you click on filter.

4. Go to the cookie cutter tool. Again use the box at the top to select a circle.

5.Create and position your circle so that it looks like a ball.

6. Voila! You now know how to make a sphere. This is good for making marbles, planets, balls . . . pretty much anything round.

Snow?!?

It is the 28th of March and there is snow on the ground! Who would have thought. It is freezing. My mom says that it is the curse of putting the sweaters away. Our blooming flowers are starting to die, but they do look kind of pretty.
Other than that, it is the first Monday of school in three weeks. We had six snow days this year (we only had two built into the schedule), but instead of going to school later in the summer, we are not going to get any breaks until summer. On the bright side our school is closing next year, so we will get out two days early and the last day of school is an early release. That also means two days earlier than my brother and sister. And, one day earlier than the kindergarteners which is amazing.
I went to the mixer for the school that I will be going to next year. It was really boring. No one danced and the only person that I talked to from the other school was someone that I had already met. But the brownies were good.

My Vacation is Ruined!

When ever something goes around, I usually get sick the week after every one else. The week before spring break every one got sick. Towards the end of the week, I started to worry that I would be sick over spring break. The first couple of days were fun. Then yesterday I woke up freezing cold with a headache and stuffy nose. And today is my friends birthday party! We planed the party together and I was really excited. I hope that I will feel better by then.

Spring Break

Yay! Spring Break has finally arrived! We aren't going out of town, but we have some exciting things planned. I can't wait!
